The "Telephone" music video has been officially shot and choreographer Laurieann Gibson joined with Cherrytree Radio to talk about some of the video's details. Gibson, who calls herself the dancing branch of Cherrytree, was there to talk about what happened on the set with Lady GaGa & Beyoncé.
The so-called "attitude consultant to the stars" says that everyone will be "losing their minds" over the choreography in the music video. Gibson said that they even do a "sandwich dance," whatever that dance move may be.
Gibson, who is also working with Robin Thicke as well as GaGa, says you just gotta "kick-ball change" the haters!
On working with Lady GaGa, she jokingly said she needed "morning prayer." She also commented on GaGa's work ethic and said that she is "fearless."
After the interview, Cherrytree played one of Gibson's GaGa favorites, "Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)."
First off Laurie Ann Gibson got dropped from Lady GaGa and Diddy... the list goes on.... ooppss lets not forget Alicia Keys, but I guess with inside help you got put back on ummmmm (this is why I am NOT going to Alicia's concert) 2003 Akey concert was boring cause of Laurie Ann. I think you have no concept of dance and somehow you were put on. Your old, if you like dance so much ATL has the best strip club out there. I would even through you a lil 50 cents.
ReplyDeleteToronto doesn't respect Lori-Ann. I can't believe that she was able to do Alicia Key's choregraphing, Alicia was hot last year and I think Tanisha Scott and Luther Brown did the best job with her. I honestly have to say that Alicia was more entertaining then she has ever been. Laurie Ann is old and needs to retire, she steals other choregraphers moves and plays it off like its her own. Wow what does that say for Laurie Ann, she isn't creative at all and not to mention a bitch. Making the band, oh boy I would have knocked her ass out if she everrrrrr spoke to me like that.
ReplyDeleteGibson filed a complaint with the NYPD on May 11, claiming the argument jumped off when Diddy and guest judge Michael Bivins lamented over the disappointing performance of the latest group of contestants, who are competing for a spot in an all-male band.
ReplyDeleteDuring the April 25th taping at a branch of New York Sports Clubs in Greenwich Village, Gibson said she explained to Diddy and Bivins that the contestants had been given only a day to practice in order to see what they would do in a crunch.
Gibson said the two men began to yell and curse at her before Bivins allegedly grabbed her and Diddy picked up a chair to threaten her. She said she broke free, tried to run and Bivins allegedly grabbed her once again. Then she left, the complaint stated.
Sources close to Diddy denied he grabbed the chair. They also claim the argument was incited to add drama to the show and that Gibson overreacted.
Gibson's lawyer said the case was still under investigation, however, an NYPD spokesman told Widdicombe that Manhattan detectives investigated the allegation, found no wrongdoing and closed the case.
Anonymous, you are a weirdo. I don't even know who Laurieann is, but she did something right. Lady Gaga is a hero, an icon, a legend and she's only had 1 CD out. You took all that energy to research Laurieann as if we, the fans care about what you have to say. What happened did you run into Laurieann and she told you weren't good enough so you have to hate. Instead of making yourself better. You're a coward. You need to look in the mirror and see yourself as UGLY. UGLY is harsh place to be and a very unhealthy way to lead your life. ps... the only reason I'm leaving this comment as Anonymous...is because I don't have a screenname. But my name is Lynda.
