Fashion designer and icon Alexander McQueen has died.

 

 

R.I.P. LEE ALEXANDER MCQUEEN (1970-2010)

One of Lady GaGa's favorite fashion designers as well as many other's favorite, Alexander McQueen, has passed away today on February 11th, 2010.  He was only 40 years old. 

This is very shocking and tragic, and we wish the McQueen family and his friends the best in this time of mourning. :(  McQueen's mother passed away just last week and three years ago his good friend Isabella Bow also committed suicide.

McQueen's publicist, who confirmed the death, has said to the public: 

"It is a tragic loss. We are not making a comment at this time out of respect for the McQueen family."

Remember monsters, no matter how serious the situation, it is never okay to take your own life. :(
