"Telephone" music video to world premiere officially on Monday, March 8th!

GaGaDaily.com has exclusively revealed that Lady GaGa's highly anticipated music video for "Telephone" featuring Beyoncé will be world premiered on Monday, March 8.

The music video is rumored to be a 12-minute long video and will also feature the Semi-Precious Weapons and actor/model Tyrese.  It was directed by Jonas Akerlund, the mastermind behind GaGa's music video for "Paparazzi."

"Telephone" music video to premiere this weekend!!!

 

After many weeks of waiting, one of the year's most highly anticipated music videos is set to finally be released this coming weekend!! 

Lady GaGa confirmed at The Monster Ball in Dublin, Ireland that the "Telephone" music video featuring Beyoncé should be coming to us this weekend.  The music video is a continuation of "Paparazzi" and is directed by the same director, Jonas Akerlund. 

Though we are not sure of the exact date, it is expected to come between Feb. 26 - Feb. 28.  So at least by SUNDAY!!!  I can't believe this week has finally come.  Get ready for your heads to explode when this is released!!!

Lady GaGa & Jeremy Scott develop line of condoms.

 

Lady GaGa and designer Jeremy Scott (outfit by Scott pictured above in GaGa's "Paparazzi" music video) have decided to join forces and make their own line of condoms!

GaGa is urging her little monsters as well as everyone else to practice safe sex by wearing their own line of condoms. 

"It’s not complicated, just a fashion statement," Lady GaGa said in a press release about the collaboration. 

"Everybody wrap it up with Jeremy Scott for Proper Attire condoms." The condoms come in three varieties (studded [dots], ribbed and sheer), and proceeds from sales will benefit Planned Parenthood.  The condoms are pictured below.

Billboard Hot Digital Songs Chart update! Five songs in the chart!!

 

As another week goes by, Lady GaGa continues to own the charts.  This week she is the only artist to have five songs in the Billboard Hot Digital Songs chart!! 

The highest charting song continues to be "Bad Romance" which falls one spot to #7 this week.  Her current single, "Telephone" with Beyoncé rises five positions this week to a new peak of #14.

"Poker Face" is still in the Top 40 but has dropped eleven spots this week to #38.  "Paparazzi" is her only song to not move this week as it remains at #41 for the second week in a row.  Falling two spots is GaGa's biggest US selling single, "Just Dance" which holds the #61 position.

Lady GaGa nominated for 2 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards

 

Lady GaGa has just recently been nominated for two Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.  

She is up against the likes of Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, and Beyoncé in the Favorite Female Artist category.

Lady GaGa's Billboard Chart Stats for the week of Feb. 10

This week on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, our Lady GaGa held three positions on the chart. 

"Bad Romance" falls three spots this week landing in at #5.  However, her current single "Telephone" rises three spots this week to a new peak position of #16.  "Paparazzi" remains in the Top 40 falling one spot to the #33 position.

On the Billboard Hot Digital Songs chart, GaGa had five chart appearances.

The highest ranked single "Bad Romance" also fell three positions on this chart, but instead comes in at #6.  "Telephone" continues to show slow, but sure, progress as it moves up on spot to #19 digitally.

After her 2010 Grammy Awards performance, her classic hit "Poker Face" came in at #27 moving up three spots.  "Paparazzi" dropped eight spots to #41 while "Just Dance" slipped four spots to #59 on the chart.

Official sales figures in the digital chart have not yet been released, but will be updated as soon as they are.

"LoveGame" becomes Lady GaGa's 5th single to go 2x platinum!!

 

"LoveGame" has officially reached double platinum status (over 2 million paid downloads) today!

This marks Lady GaGa's FIFTH SINGLE to achieve 2 million downloads.  It's the fifth song from the expanded version of The Fame / The Fame Monster to tackle this feat.

Lady GaGa is now only the second artist to be able to sell over 2 million paid downloads from one album.  The last artist to do so was Fergie with her debut solo album, The Duchess.

"Just Dance" (5 million)

"Poker Face" (4.7 million)

"LoveGame" (2 million)

"Paparazzi" (2.1 million)

"Bad Romance" (2.8 million)

"Telephone" (0.6 million)

Lady GaGa's choreographer Laurieann Gibson to appear on Cherrytree Radio to talk about the "Telephone" video.

Monster Ball choreographer as well as the mastermind behind the dance moves from GaGa's videos "Paparazzi," "LoveGame," and "Bad Romance," Laurieann Gibson, will appear on Cherrytree Radio this morning to talk about shooting the "Telephone" video with Lady GaGa & Beyoncé.

Morgantown, WV sees at LEAST a foot of snow!

 

  

Yesterday our residency, Morgantown, WV, received at least one foot of snow if not a few inches more!  

Well we decided to attempt and be creative with the tons of snow we got by making a Snow GaGa!!  

It's not the most beautiful piece of snow artwork you've ever seen, but hey, it definitely helped out with our boredom.  Plus we like our Snow GaGa.  She's very original!  In the second pic she's rocking some Monster Ball shades as well as her SNL mask from when she sang "Paparazzi."

Lady GaGa gives details on "Telephone" music video and revamped Monster Ball tour.

 

This morning, Lady GaGa did a bunch of radio interviews to talk about the upcoming "Telephone" video, as well as new details on the revamped Monster Ball tour.

In an interview with KIIS FM, she described certain things that will happen in the video.

"The premise to the video is that it's the end of the 'Paparazzi' video and I'm in prison, but I'm having a really good time and I don't wanna leave. Then I'm getting all these calls but I don't want to answer any of them but then I finally get the call I want."

Could the final call GaGa gets be from co-star Beyonce or Tyrese?  Who knows?

As for The Monster Ball, GaGa promises that the new tour will be more theatrical and less concert.  She and her friends are in New York City going to the show, but they get lost and have to find their way.  The whole set up is said to be all about New York.

GaGa also announced that she is currently working on her third studio album, which is set to be released in the 4th quarter of this year, 2010. 

"I feel so bad for the 'Bad Romance' video. It's going to be forgotten."

 

As we mentioned a few posts earlier, Lady GaGa has officially shot her music video for the second single off of The Fame Monster, "Telephone" with Beyonce.

In a recent Z100 interview, GaGa said that the "Telephone" video is set to be so epic, that she feels bad for the "Bad Romance" video that had everybody talking.

"I feel so bad for the 'Bad Romance' video," she said.  "It's going to be forgotten."

The rumors of the video being a continuation of the "Paparazzi" could turn out to be true as GaGa said that "Telephone" will be a short film.  Not to mention both videos have the same director, Jonas Aukerland.

She said that the video is "super amazing" and is a "true pop event."  While she looked at the monitor she thought "this is going to be something else." 

The music video is currently being edited and will be released late February.
